New Related Video

I picked this video cause it makes some great points about how the world has changed. It shows what we are teaching was great for back then but ask are we providing students with the right tools for todays world and the future?

  1. I really liked this video. It brought up some great comparisons. I liked how it showed that Shakespeare had something like 240,000 words to work with and Enimem has over 1 million! That is hard to imagine! I also liked how the video then compared those numbers to the populations of China and India. Everthing in this video related back to the topic of education and how it was taught then and now. It also had a great ending. Are we preparing our children with the right resources and tools for the future? Thank you for sharing! This video was fun and very imformative!

  2. This video made an excellent point. The world has changed and is continually changing. China's impressive economic growth means that they may be the new world superpower. The video even states that China has more honor students than the US has students. China's surplus of workers helps fuel their industry and growth. Also, the video does a great job of showing that we need to think about our "traditional" teaching methods and analyze whether or not they are applicable to the current times. Technology has changed every aspect of our lives and therefore, education should evolve with that technology.
